WHY THE ASSOCIATION?
With the ever-increasing number of alumni and employees of the Hong
Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU, in short) now residing in Western
Canada, there is a call for the formation of an association to promote
fellowship and networking for this growing community.
Officially inaugurated on October 26, 1996, the Association has received
strong support from the PolyU and especially Emeritus President, Professor Poon
Chung Kwong and current President, Professor Timothy Tong.
WHOM IS IT FOR?
If you have ever graduated, taught or worked at the PolyU or its
predecessors, including the Hong Kong Polytechnic and the Hong Kong Technical
College, and are now living in Western Canada, you are very welcome to join the
Association.
